Double Your Impact with Matching Funds!

Right now, you have an incredible opportunity to support Camp Randall Rowing Club and see your contribution doubled! An anonymous supporter has generously pledged to match every donation up to $50,000 if we raise the same amount by October 20, 2024, the final day of the Head of the Charles Regatta.

This matching gift is vital to supporting both the immediate and long-term needs of our programs, including growing participation across all age groups, expanding our coaching staff, and ensuring our athletes have access to the best possible equipment and training opportunities.

Why Now?
Our club is experiencing exciting growth. The Middle School program is bursting with 26 new rowers, and our High School program continues to expand. We have seven talented coaches, including four newly certified USRowing Level 1 coaches, helping our rowers reach their full potential.

With your support, we can continue to build on our success and take Camp Randall Rowing Club to the next level!

Don’t Miss This Chance to Double Your Donation to CRRC!
Your gift, no matter the size, will have twice the impact if you donate by October 20, 2024. Together, we can ensure a bright future for all of our athletes.

Please donate today! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. Let’s pull together and reach our goal!

Camp Randall Rowing Club (CRRC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt volunteer organization committed to promoting an understanding and appreciation of the sport of rowing through youth and adult programs.

Our program fees cover annual operating expenses only. They do not cover equipment purchases, scholarships, or boathouse maintenance and improvement expenses, which instead are covered by club fundraising activities. Camp Randall Rowing Club welcomes community, corporate, and individual donor support for these programs. Read on below to learn more about ways you can support CRRC.

CRRC's TIN is 39-2016588.

Camp Randall Rowing Club is committed to making rowing accessible to all. We offer financial assistance to participants in our various youth programs as well as our We Can Row Program.

The Scholarship Fund is sustained by fundraising, grants, and donations.

In order to be competitive, our crews must have quality boats to race in. Camp Randall manages our fleet carefully, selling older equipment and buying newer equipment subject to funds. Typically a program of our size raises $30,000 to $40,000 annually to keep their fleet competitive. In prior years we have been quite fortunate to have a small number of very generous donors step forward to enable us to buy the equipment we need.

The CRRC Erg-a-thon is held annually during March and is one of the club’s most successful fundraising events. During this “marathon of erging”, ergs (rowing machines) are set up in the boat house. Rowers collect pledges during the two months prior to the event, and spectators can also donate on the spot while the rowers are erging. The erg-a-thon has enabled the club to purchase boats, oars, our truck and other essential equipment. This is our main fundraising event of the year and ensures that our Junior rowers continue to have the equipment necessary to compete.

  • Boat repair and maintenance fund – $15,000

  • 10 Ergs – $1,100 each

  • 5 Bike Ergs – $1,200 each

  • Sculling Oars – $500 per pair

  • New monitors for ergs/bikes – $300 each
