About Us

Camp Randall’s primary purpose is to foster youth national and international rowing. Camp Randall Rowing Club supports and develops amateur athletes throughout the Dane County community and beyond.

The overall purpose of Camp Randall’s programs is to encourage, develop, instruct and train youth in the sport of competitive rowing, to encourage and develop amateur competition in the sport of rowing, to encourage lifelong health and wellness, to solicit scholarships to support individuals who otherwise would not have an opportunity to participate in the sport, and finally, to provide understanding and appreciation of the sport of rowing.

To accomplish these goals, Camp Randall Rowing Club offers high school and middle school learn-to-row and a Junior Competitive Rowing program, organizes and offers a WeCanRow program which provides wellness and recovery opportunities through rowing for female cancer survivors, and offers rental space for rowing shells and oars.

CRRC has partnered with the City of Madison to renovate the historic Brittingham Boathouse and continues to solicit community support for the sport of rowing.
