Junior Parent Committee

CRRCHiReslogo.jpgOn June 20, 2009, the CRRC Board of Directors approved the formation of a Junior Parent Committee (JPC). The JPC will support the coaching staff and the rowers in a variety of ways, as described in the charter when you "read more." (You can also download a copy of the JPC's charter.) The role of parents as "boosters" of the CRRC has always been important and this charter is a recognition of the critical supporting role parents have in keeping the club fun and functioning.

Organization and Jobs of the JPC

Print

The Junior Parent Committee (JPC) is organized around a key group of individuals who help keep CRRC running smoothly throughout the year, and from year to year. Ideally, all of the key jobs are held by at least two parents: one with experience in the club and another parent who will learn the job and take primary responsibility for it in the future. Two of the jobs below, 1) Regatta Food, and 2) Camp Crew and Regatta Management require the support of many more than just two parents. Please step forward and help CRRC; contact the JPC chair(s) or anyone else on the JPC. Meetings of the JPC are held regularly, and the parents of any rower are welcome to attend and participate.
